Grocery stores in National City -recommendations?

Hello, My family moved here when I was a kid. Homes are going for about $580,900 on average. Household incomes average around $64,248 in National City. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Thanks! Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I've lived in Sunset for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from New York, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Strong sense of community
- The food scene scene is tough

The downsides:
- Dating scene is rough
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for retirees. Hope this helps!.

The food scene here is better than expected. Tons of great Mexican places. it's not perfect but it works for me.
