Alright, I've been here for 2 years and It's a a small town city with about 1,583 people. Homes are going for about $755,200 on average. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The suburbs are where most families end up. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from LA and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Lakewood. It's challenging for what you get.
Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in government you might struggle.
People: Generally average. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

The food scene here is tough. Tons of great farm-to-table places. I have mixed feelings honestly.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I have mixed feelings honestly. Internet is decent in most areas.
