I've been living here for 9 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The outdoor recreation is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's been a really good experience overall. Internet is underrated in most areas.

I've lived in Eastside for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. When I first moved here from Portland, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The food scene scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for young professionals. Happy to answer more specific questions..
