First post here. We're a young couple and It's a a small town city with about 12,060 people. Rent is about $1,081/month for a decent place. Median household income is $97,027, which feels pretty solid for the area. The unemployment rate is 3.0%, which is pretty low. The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Let me know your thoughts. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. As someone who grew up here, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. A lot has changed in the past few years though. outdoor recreation used to be much developing but now it's excellent.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.
I've been in Westside for 11 years. Moved from Baltimore for school. Here's my honest, detailed take:
**Housing:**
The market right now is solid. We bought in 2020 at k and it's now worth up a bit than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 1-bed in a safe area. Older homes are where the value is.
**Employment:**
manufacturing is strong here. legal is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are competitive for the area.
**Quality of Life:**
it's exactly what I was looking for. The outdoor scene is improving - we have biking trails within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.
**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Westside schools are improving. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.
**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Rising rent and home prices. Limited high-paying job options. And weather can be frustrating.
**Bottom line:**
