Anyone else feel this way? I work in consulting and The median home value here is around $324,400, which seems about average. Median household income is $56,025, which feels about average for the area. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Thoughts?

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value public transit, you'll love it. The school system is genuinely underrated and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. My neighborhood (North) is affordable and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from Pittsburgh, be prepared for the culture shock. dating scene is completely different here. And Winters are long and cold.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I've been living here for 15 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The public transit is pretty good compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..
