First post here. Median household income is $97,414, which feels pretty solid for the area. With a population of 40,384, New Berlin is a smaller city. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Any advice would be great.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is traffic. I have mixed feelings honestly. Worth doing your research before committing.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Eastside. It's better than expected for what you get.
Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in consulting you might struggle.
People: Generally better than expected. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Italian.
