Been meaning to ask this. I'm originally from Tucson and Rent is about $1,745/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $80,292 in New Carrollton. The unemployment rate is 7.6%, which is concerning. Crime rate is something to consider -New Carrollton sits at 253.2 per 100K. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. What would you do? Cheers. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
