My family moved here when I was a kid. Rent is about $2,174/month for a decent place. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Am I wrong here? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
