Living in New Cassel -the reality

I've been here for 7 years and It's a a small town city with about 14,414 people. Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. Homes are going for about $509,500 on average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Anyone in a similar situation? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Hot take but it's not perfect but it works for me. I know a lot of people disagree but after 11 years here, that's my honest assessment.
