Is New Hartford Center good for remote workers?

Hey folks, I'm a teacher here and Homes are going for about $216,700 on average. Average temperature is around 49--F, so expect cold winters. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Does this match your experience? Looking forward to hearing from you all. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
