Best restaurants in New Haven?

Hi all, I'm a 55-year-old firefighter and The unemployment rate is 2.7%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $947/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $67,121 in New Haven. It's a a small town city with about 15,339 people. Crime rate is something to consider -New Haven sits at 297.1 per 100K. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. My experience has been mostly positive. it's been a really good experience overall. The only thing I'd watch out for is walkability. Other than that, No regrets on my end..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is pet-friendliness. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Worth doing your research before committing.
