Housing in New Haven compared to Charlotte

Curious what people think. I relocated for work and Rent is about $947/month for a decent place. With a population of 15,339, New Haven is a small town. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. What are your go-to spots? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are surprisingly good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
