New Haven is underrated, change my mind

Hello, I'm a 52-year-old project manager and Homes are going for about $151,200 on average. The median home value here is around $151,200, which is actually reasonable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Should I be concerned? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

We moved here with our family and it's not perfect but it works for me. Schools in Cedar Grove area are decent. Kids love it here.

Bought a house here in 2020 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone up significantly since then.
