Rent in New Hope getting crazy

Anyone else feel this way? My family moved here when I was a kid. Household incomes average around $55,324 in New Hope. Median household income is $55,324, which feels about average for the area. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Is this normal for New Hope? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

The food scene here is excellent. Tons of great Thai places. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in South. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Southern.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
