Been meaning to ask this. I'm retired and The unemployment rate is 2.0%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $75,114 in New Johnsonville. Average temperature is around 59--F, so the weather is moderate. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
