Hi all, I'm a teacher here and You can expect to pay around $1,303 for rent here. The median home value here is around $234,800, which is actually reasonable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. What do you all think? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
