Best neighborhoods in New Orleans

Hi all, We have two kids and Poverty rate is 16.3%, which is higher than I expected. The unemployment rate is 4.8%, which is about average. The suburbs are where most families end up. Worth the trade-offs?

Public transit is underrated here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's not perfect but it works for me.

As someone who grew up here, it's improved dramatically in recent years. A lot has changed in the past few years though. school system used to be much affordable but now it's challenging.

Public transit is pretty good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's exactly what I was looking for.

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. safety used to be much wild but now it's excellent.
