Best neighborhoods in New Port Richey

Hey folks, I grew up here but left for a while. Rent is about $1,154/month for a decent place. With a population of 17,057, New Port Richey is a small town. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. Should I be concerned? Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Greenfield. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like craft beer.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
