Anyone work in healthcare in New Providence?

Hey, I grew up here but left for a while. Rent is about $1,906/month for a decent place. It's a a small town city with about 13,577 people. Household incomes average around $162,877 in New Providence. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Is this normal for New Providence? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's not perfect but it works for me. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I've lived in Midtown for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Good internet infrastructure
- The community vibe scene is average

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Property taxes are high

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for young professionals. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Public transit is surprisingly good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's exactly what I was looking for.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is weather. it exceeded my expectations. Worth doing your research before committing.
