Hey, Been living here since 2014. The median home value here is around $667,300, which is pretty steep. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Has anyone dealt with this? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from San Diego and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Westside. It's tough for what you get.
Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in tech. If you're in government you might struggle.
People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.
