Not sure if this has been asked before, but Crime rate is something to consider — New York sits at 570.7 per 100K. Poverty rate is 13.6%, which is around average. Homes are going for about $751,700 on average. Average temperature is around 55°F, so the weather is moderate. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Am I overthinking this? Thanks in advance! Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
