I grew up here, left for college, and came back 6 years ago. Nightlife is decent if you know where to go.

What I like:
- Affordable compared to coastal cities
- Strong local businesses
- Good farmers markets
What I don't:
- Water quality concerns
- Wind never stops
Cost of living is not as cheap as people think compared to where I came from. The food scene in Bay Ridge is honestly incredible.
