Considering Newark vs Kansas City -help me decide

So, I'm a 39-year-old pharmacist and Household incomes average around $164,909 in Newark. Crime rate is something to consider -Newark sits at 173.7 per 100K. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Internet is solid in most areas.
