Planning a move to Newark -neighborhoods?

Born and raised here. It's a a smaller city city with about 30,309 people. Poverty rate is 7.0%, which is pretty low. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Am I wrong here?

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is safety. Other than that, It's not for everyone but it works for us..

As someone who grew up here, it was the best decision I ever made. A lot has changed in the past few years though. safety used to be much wild but now it's pretty good.
