How much do you pay for rent in Newark?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a nurse at the local hospital and With a population of 307K, Newark is a mid-size city. Average temperature is around 55°F, so the weather is moderate. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it's exactly what I was looking for. Compared to Seattle it's average.
