Is public transit usable in Newark?

The median home value here is around $337,800, which seems about average. The suburbs are where most families end up. Any help is appreciated.

I've been living here for 13 years and I'd say I love the pace of life here. The food scene is pretty good compared to other places I've lived. Overall No regrets on my end..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if housing market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from Portland and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Fairview. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in retail. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 7 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: tough. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

No regrets on my end..
