So, Poverty rate is 21.0%, which is higher than I expected. Homes are going for about $337,800 on average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Thoughts? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want job market, then yeah this place is great. But if weather matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from LA and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Uptown. It's tough for what you get.
Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in construction. If you're in finance you might struggle.
People: Generally challenging. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.
