Anyone work in healthcare in Newberg?

First post here. I've been here for 2 years and Homes are going for about $453,700 on average. Household incomes average around $91,389 in Newberg. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Looking forward to hearing from you all. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value community vibe, you'll love it. The food scene is genuinely solid and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. My neighborhood (Riverside) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from San Diego, be prepared for the culture shock. cost of living is completely different here. And Summers can be brutally hot.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is job market. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it was the best decision I ever made. Internet is pretty good in most areas.
