Freelancing from Newburgh -experience?

Hey everyone, It's a a smaller city city with about 28,649 people. The median home value here is around $221,100, which is actually reasonable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. What would you do?

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 15 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the healthcare is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Highland side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
