Commute times in Newburyport -how bad?

Been meaning to ask this. I work in retail and The median home value here is around $792,400, which is pretty steep. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from Seattle and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Sunset. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in marketing. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.

No regrets on my end..

Bought a house here in 2017 and I genuinely enjoy living here. Property values have gone about the same since then.

Came here for work and stayed because I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The job market is honestly pretty good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
