Biggest downsides of living in Newnan?
It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What do you all think? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

As someone who grew up here, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. A lot has changed in the past few years though. traffic used to be much reasonable but now it's solid.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.
I've been here 4 years and it's been a really good experience overall. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is solid.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the North side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
