Best and worst neighborhoods in Newport Beach

Been meaning to ask this. My family moved here when I was a kid. Rent is about $3,146/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 2.7%, which is pretty low. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Does this match your experience?

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. I have mixed feelings honestly. Compared to Houston it's challenging.

Used to live on the Lakewood side, now on the Downtown side. Completely different vibe. I'm still on the fence after all this time.
