Biggest downsides of living in Newport Beach?

I'm a 54-year-old writer and Homes are going for about $2,000,001 on average. Average temperature is around 61--F, so the weather is moderate. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Anyone in a similar situation? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Bought a house here in 2021 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone up a bit since then.
