Honest thoughts on life in Newport

First post here. I've been here for 2 years and Household incomes average around $76,091 in Newport. Median household income is $76,091, which feels about average for the area. It's a a small town city with about 4,428 people. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Anyone in a similar situation? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Weather-wise, the summers are decent and winters are manageable. You get used to it after the first year.

As someone who grew up here, I love the pace of life here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. public transit used to be much established but now it's solid.
