How are the schools in Newport?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Crime rate is something to consider -Newport sits at 343.5 per 100K. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it exceeded my expectations. Compared to Salt Lake City it's average.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's been a really good experience overall. The only thing I'd watch out for is cultural scene. Other than that, It's not for everyone but it works for us..
