Is Newton getting better or worse?

I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Median household income is $56,321, which feels about average for the area. It's a a small town city with about 15,696 people. Poverty rate is 6.4%, which is pretty low. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Weather-wise, the summers are average and winters are competitive. You get used to it after the first year.
