Best apartments in Niles under ?

Hey folks, We're a young couple and Homes are going for about $350,900 on average. It's a a smaller city city with about 30,262 people. The weather takes some getting used to. Is this normal for Niles? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Springfield. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in education. If you're in real estate you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Thai.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it exceeded my expectations. Compared to Minneapolis it's pretty good.

I've been living here for 7 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The traffic is challenging compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..
