Niles housing prices -when will it stop?

OK so You can expect to pay around $1,247 for rent here. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Weather-wise, the summers are decent and winters are wild. You get used to it after the first year.

I've been living here for 13 years and I'd say it's not perfect but it works for me. The cost of living is underrated compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want community vibe, then yeah this place is great. But if cultural scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value cost of living, you'll love it. The safety is genuinely tough and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. My neighborhood (Riverside) is developing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Boston, be prepared for the culture shock. cost of living is completely different here. And Rising rent and home prices.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
