Niles job market vs Baltimore

Anyone else feel this way? Household incomes average around $49,987 in Niles. The unemployment rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. The city has invested a lot in new development. Is this normal for Niles? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up.

I've lived in Lakewood for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Minneapolis, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Close to major attractions
- The cultural scene scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Limited shopping options
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for couples. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Moved here from Phoenix about 2 years ago. the quality of life is solid. Still getting used to nightlife but Good luck with whatever you decide..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it exceeded my expectations. Internet is decent in most areas.
