Working in Noblesville -salaries realistic?

I've been here for 20 years and Homes are going for about $321,800 on average. Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Came here for cost of living and stayed because I love the pace of life here. The weather is honestly underrated and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in North. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in education. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like Indian.

No regrets on my end..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. it was the best decision I ever made. Compared to Nashville it's tough.

We moved here with our family and it's not perfect but it works for me. Schools in Springfield area are tough. Kids love it here.

Hot take but it's not perfect but it works for me. I know a lot of people disagree but after 4 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Bought a house here in 2019 and I have mixed feelings honestly. Property values have gone up significantly since then.
