Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a college student here and Median household income is $131,488, which feels pretty solid for the area. With a population of 25,581, Nocatee is a smaller city. Homes are going for about $585,000 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Nocatee sits at 615.5 per 100K. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What are your go-to spots? The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
