Best areas to explore in Nocatee?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a college student here and Median household income is $131,488, which feels pretty solid for the area. With a population of 25,581, Nocatee is a smaller city. Homes are going for about $585,000 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Nocatee sits at 615.5 per 100K. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What are your go-to spots? Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 1 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is housing market. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is hit or miss.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Eastside side vs the Uptown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

Public transit is better than expected here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I'm still on the fence after all this time.
