Nogales is underrated, change my mind

Been meaning to ask this. I relocated for work and Rent is about $691/month for a decent place. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Has anyone dealt with this? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. I genuinely enjoy living here. Compared to San Diego it's pretty good.

I've lived in Highland for about 10 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Salt Lake City, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Decent public transit for the size
- The healthcare scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for retirees. Definitely worth checking out..
