What I wish I knew before living in Norco
First post here. We're a young couple and Median household income is $125,117, which feels pretty solid for the area. Homes are going for about $731,900 on average. Household incomes average around $125,117 in Norco. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
Pros:
- Lots of new development
- Good healthcare facilities
- Walkable downtown
- Good internet infrastructure
Cons:
- Limited nightlife
- Boring for young people
- Homelessness issues downtown

Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
