Not sure if this has been asked before, but I work in government and Household incomes average around $75,068 in Norcross. Rent is about $1,654/month for a decent place. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What are your go-to spots? Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Houston, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Strong job market in several industries
- The community vibe scene is improving
The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Homeless population growing downtown
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for retirees. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. I have mixed feelings honestly. Compared to Phoenix it's challenging.

As someone who grew up here, it exceeded my expectations. A lot has changed in the past few years though. walkability used to be much developing but now it's excellent.
