Hey everyone, I'm originally from Cleveland and Homes are going for about $271,900 on average. Rent is about $1,246/month for a decent place. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Let me know your thoughts. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Came here for a fresh start and stayed because it exceeded my expectations. The public transit is honestly better than expected and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I've been in Fairview for 12 years. Moved from Minneapolis for school. Here's my honest, detailed take:
**Housing:**
The market right now is solid. We bought in 2024 at k and it's now worth up a bit than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 3-bed in a safe area. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable.
**Employment:**
legal is strong here. legal is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are developing for the area.
**Quality of Life:**
it's been a really good experience overall. The outdoor scene is pretty good - we have desert landscapes within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.
**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Fairview schools are better than expected. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.
**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Limited high-paying job options. Homeless population growing downtown. And pet-friendliness can be frustrating.
**Bottom line:**
