It's a a mid-size city city with about 129K people. Crime rate is something to consider — Norman sits at 267.8 per 100K. Rent is about $1,064/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 63°F, so the weather is moderate. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Thoughts? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
