Is Norristown good for remote workers?

Curious what people think. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Rent is about $1,337/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 15.2%, which is higher than I expected. The unemployment rate is 3.7%, which is pretty low. With a population of 35,782, Norristown is a smaller city. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Am I overthinking this? The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Used to live on the Riverside side, now on the Oak Park side. Completely different vibe. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
