Is public transit usable in North Augusta?

Hey, I work in logistics and Homes are going for about $220,500 on average. It's a a small town city with about 24,928 people. Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a HR manager, 45, moved here 1 years ago from Phoenix. I've lived in Fairview and The Heights, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Nice parks and green spaces
2. Active local events and festivals
3. Strong sense of community
4. The people are generally excellent - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Can feel isolated
2. Dating scene is rough
3. The school system situation is growing and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Fairview: Great for remote workers. excellent vibes, walkable.
- The Heights: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Phoenix, everything felt improving. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are developing. Gas is pricey. You can live comfortably on $40K-$140K here.

**Final verdict:**
Give it a chance - it might surprise you.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.
