Job market in North Bay Shore for tech?

Hey, Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Bought a house here in 2022 and it's been a really good experience overall. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. the quality of life is solid. Compared to Miami it's surprisingly good.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 8 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is surprisingly good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The North side vs the Westside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
