Hello, I'm a teacher here and Homes are going for about $162,700 on average. Poverty rate is 6.3%, which is pretty low. The unemployment rate is 1.6%, which is pretty low. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Would love some local perspective. Appreciate any input. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is safety. it's not perfect but it works for me. Worth doing your research before committing.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are excellent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
